Welcome to Múinteoir Jane's class!

The Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher provides individual and group support to some pupils. In our school, the SEN teacher also works closely with the class teacher in planning and implementing literacy and numeracy initiatives that benefit all children in the classroom. Múinteoir Jane assesses pupils and provides an individualised programme of education for each child in her class. She builds a strong relationship with these pupils, by creating lessons that are playful and link to the child's interests. She also works closely with parents and listens to the pupils' voice to ensure all parties have an input in the specific learning programme.
